Gloomy Sunday, a suicide song from Hungary

Gloomy Sunday, a suicide song from Hungary

Have you ever heard a song that can make a person who hears it want to commit suicide? Well, maybe not more like her song Living Memories Gabby. But this is far more famous and had many casualties, the song is Gloomy Sunday, written by Laszlo Javor, a poet of Hungary.

Gloomy Sunday

Sunday is gloomy
The hours are slumberless
dearest the shadows
I Live with are numberless

Little white flowers
Awakens never will from you,
Nowhere note the dark coach
of Sorrow has taken you

Angels have no thought
Returning of you guys ever
they want would be Angry
Joining if I thought of you?

Gloomy Sunday

Gloomy Sunday
with shadows I Spend it all
my Heart and I
have decided to end it all

Soon some prayers there’ll
and candles are lit, I know
weep not let Them
let Them know, that I’m glad to go

Death Is a Dream
for in death I’m caressing you
with the last breath of my soul
I’ll be blessing you

Gloomy Sunday

Dreaming, I was only dreaming
I wake and I find you Asleep
on deep in my heart, Dear

Darling, I hope
That haunted you my dream hasn’t
my heart is telling you
how much I wanted you
